Super clean and spacious room. Good WiFi connection, friendly staff. I read bad reviews on the safety and metro noise but I personally didn't experience any of that. My room was quiet and I didn't see any particular issue outside the hotel door. It probably looks more like a 3 stars hotel than a 4 stars but I had a nice stay and would go back again. The price was pretty good considering the location just next to the station. Great coffee in the room and great quality shampoo and shower gel. Bed was comfortable, air conditioning and 2 windows in the room.

Location. Location. Location. We were basically centre point to everything. Generally the same distance walk in all directions to attractions. We didn’t use it, but the metro is just a couple of feet from the door. Hotel staff were lovely, no issues at all. Some reviews mention noise. We had a top floor room with balcony (worth it!) and I think the noise people must be referring to is the actual lift in the hotel - kind of rattles the walls I think. Don’t think it’s the metro it’s not frequent enough. Anyway, it’s grand - didn’t bother us at all.

The location is ideal for metro use. Very easy to get around. The staff were also fantastic. I don’t know the name of the gentleman that works regularly but he’s a gem! It could use some updating for sure but the bed was very comfortable and the AC worked too well at moments. When we first walked in we thought “what in the world” but after three weeks of travel across the country this was one of our best stays. You are paying for location! Our balcony was amazing as well.

Location excellent for access to metro lines. Walking distance to good restaurants, opera theatre area. This was my 3rd stay in Paris hotels. I would definitely choose this hotel next time. Small fridge, coffee machine. Helpful staff. Others have mentioned the metro noise. Yes you can hear the rumble at quite times (early morning)but it is not an issue and not that loud. Ask for room that does NOT face the street if a concerned.

The location was excellent. This was our second stay at The Le Grand Hotel De Normandie and it was grand. Aly the night manager was with us the first trip and this trip, he is an exceptional value and one main reason why we stayed again thus trip. The housekeeping is accommodating and excellent.
